IEP Take to the Stage

A little known historical event from the very foundation of modern Australia was dramatised by the Lincoln Mystery Plays Company in late September 2010. 

“Our Country’s Good”, by British playwright Timberlake Wertenbaker, centres on the processes involved as the first colony of convicts to Australia in 1788 set about presenting a play under the direction of one of the officer-jailers. 

Bringing a new interpretation to the popular play, the company showcased the skills and diversity of talent that has made the Lincoln Mystery Plays such an outstanding success in the Lincoln area.   

International Export Packers was pleased to be asked to manufacture cases to be used as an integral part of the play’s action.   The twenty cases were manufactured to suit the period and aged to the Director’s specification.
